The Latona Brothers

The Latona Brothers is a New York group co-led by guitarist Andrew Latona and his brother Christopher Latona, who plays drums and piano. Their music sits between straight-ahead jazz and the go-go rhythms of the Washington, DC area, where Andrew grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. He earned a BFA from SUNY Purchase, where he studied with guitarist Vic Juris, and has performed with Jon Faddis, Jazzmeia Horn, Paul Carr, and the Julius Rodriguez Trio. The duo performs regularly at The Django in Tribeca.
