Julius Rodriguez is a New York pianist, drummer, and composer who moves freely across jazz, soul, hip-hop, and blues. Raised in White Plains, he was sitting in at Smalls jam sessions by the age of eleven and went on to become one of the most sought after young musicians on the scene. His debut album Let Sound Tell All arrived on Verve in 2022, a genre spanning statement he simply calls the music. As a collaborator he has worked with artists from Meshell Ndegeocello and Lianne La Havas to A$AP Rocky and Kurt Elling, and he leads his own trio at clubs including the Blue Note and Mezzrow.
