Glenn Zaleski

Glenn Zaleski is a pianist, composer, and arranger born in 1987 in Boylston, Massachusetts, where he began piano lessons at age seven. He earned a two-year fellowship at the Brubeck Institute at the University of the Pacific from 2005 to 2007 and completed his degree at The New School, and in 2006 he performed with Dave Brubeck at the Monterey Jazz Festival. Drawing on Bill Evans and Dave Brubeck as touchstones, he became one of the most in-demand pianists on the New York jazz scene, working with Ravi Coltrane, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Ari Hoenig, and the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra. He released his debut album as a leader, My Ideal, on Sunnyside Records in 2015, followed by Fellowship in 2017. He also performs in a duo with his brother, saxophonist Mark Zaleski.
