Eden Ladin

Eden Ladin is an Israeli-born pianist, keyboardist, and composer who has been a fixture on the New York jazz scene since arriving in 2008, known for a harmonically rich, lyrical approach that reaches beyond straight-ahead jazz convention. Raised in Tel Aviv, the son of drummer Gil Ladin, he came to New York on an America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship to study at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, where his teachers included George Cables and Reggie Workman. As a sideman he has worked with bassist Avishai Cohen, trumpeter Avishai Cohen, Terence Blanchard, Omer Avital, Ari Hoenig, and Mark Guiliana, among many others. His debut album Yequm, released on Contagious Music in 2017, features eleven original compositions, and his second album Mirage followed in 2022, incorporating analog synthesizers and progressive rock textures.
