Conrad Korsch

Conrad Korsch is a New York bassist who has anchored jazz stages and major pop and rock tours for decades. Raised in Philadelphia, he earned a degree in jazz bass performance from Temple University before establishing himself on the New York scene. From 2002 to 2018 he served as bassist and later musical director for Rod Stewart, and he joined The Faces around their 2012 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Equally at home in Broadway pit orchestras and small-group jazz, Korsch leads his own trio at The Django with pianist Marius Van Den Brink and drummer Ross Pederson.
